The invention discloses a socket type bridge expansion joint device which consists of more than two supporting pieces connected in a matched manner, and is characterized in that the supporting pieces consist of female supporting pieces (2) and male supporting pieces (5), wherein the supporting pieces are square steel pipes and are connected in a dynamic fit embedding manner; the bottoms of the female supporting pieces (2) are closed and are connected with anchor ribs fixedly connected with a bridge main structure; the bottoms of the male supporting pieces (5) are rectangular steel plates (3); the other surfaces of the rectangular steel plates (3) are connected with anchor ribs fixedly connected with the bridge main structure; clearances which are 2-6mm in width are reserved between all the side walls of the female supporting pieces (2) and the male supporting pieces (5); the end openings in the upper side surfaces of the opening ends of the female supporting pieces (2) are arc-shaped. The socket type bridge expansion joint device has the characteristics of reasonable and practical structure and durability and can be widely applied between two beam ends of a bridge as well as between each beam end and a bridge abutment.
