The invention discloses an assembly type bridge expansion joint device. The device comprises a left expansion joint structure and a right expansion joint structure which are arranged on mounting grooves in the two sides of a beam body expansion joint, and a flexible water guide groove is connected between the left expansion joint structure and the right expansion joint structure. The left/right expansion joint structure comprises a telescopic part provided with a first connecting hole and a first mounting hole, and the first mounting hole is located above the first connecting hole; a supporting part is arranged at the lower part of the telescopic part and is provided with a second connecting hole, and the second connecting hole corresponds to the first connecting hole; the bottom of a connecting part is provided with a first clamping unit, the top of the connecting part is provided with a first fixing unit, and the connecting part penetrates through the first connecting hole and the second connecting hole; a fixing part is provided with a second fixing unit and a second clamping unit, the second fixing unit and the second clamping unit are of an integrated structure, and the fixingpart is located in the beam body below the supporting part; a first fixing unit is arranged in the first mounting hole, and the first clamping unit is matched with the second clamping unit. The invention further discloses a construction method of the expansion joint device.
