According to the technical scheme, the preparation method comprises the following step: by taking traditional Chinese medicine extraction waste residues as raw materials, performing the processes such as pre-carbonization, mixed application of a phenolic resin and vacuum sintering, thereby obtaining the solar heat collection material. The preparation disclosed by the invention has the characteristics that the carbon-ceramic heat collection material has excellent properties such as high photothermal conversion capacity, high temperature resistance, wear resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, good heat-conducting property and low thermal expansion coefficient. Under the optimum conditions, the carbon ceramic prepared by taking the traditional Chinese medicine extraction waste residues as raw materials can serve as the solar heat collection material, the absorbance can be 87.2 percent, and the preparation method has obvious development and utilization values.
