The invention relates to an adaptive positioning structure for the steel rail spatial attitude of a track measuring instrument. In the track measuring instrument, a practical calibration device for checking the track direction of a transverse beam vertically is unavailable in a track gauge measuring process. The adaptive positioning structure comprises a guide sliding chute with a downward notch, wherein a sliding shaft is arranged in the guide sliding chute; one end of the sliding shaft is fixed on a wheel support; an air spring movable end fixing plate is arranged on the bottom surface of the sliding shaft; two track direction sides are connected with two parallel air springs which are vertical to the track direction; the other ends of the air springs are fixed on the air spring fixing end fixing plate; a transmission folded plate and a transmission flat plate are hinged in sequence to the air spring fixing end fixing plate; a track direction transmission shaft is arranged on the end part of the transmission flat plate; a transmission handle is arranged at one end of the transmission shaft. The adaptive positioning structure is reasonable in structure; two ends of the transverse beam are pushed to a track through the air springs, and a measuring wheel is enabled to be close to the inner side of the track, so that the transverse beam of the track measuring instrument is always kept vertical to the track, and the track gauge measuring reliability and accuracy of the track measuring instrument are improved.
