The invention relates to a safety protection frame for road construction. The safety protection frame comprises a frame body composed of a beam, a vertical shaft and a cross bar; both ends of the beam are respectively provided with connecting blocks which are respectively sleeved on the vertical shaft in sliding; the lower surface of each connecting block is provided with a clamping plate, and one upper clamping space forms between the clamping plate and the vertical shaft; the lower end of the vertical shaft is respectively connected with a supporting block, both ends of the cross bar are respectively provided with buckling parts which are respectively clamped with the supporting block, and one lower clamping space forms between each buckling part and the vertical shaft; signboards are installed in the upper clamping space and the lower clamping space. The safety protection frame is simple in structure, the vertical shaft is provided with the beam capable of being adjusted in sliding so that the signboards are convenient to exchange and the manufacturing cost is reduced; besides the frame body can be disassembled for carrying, thereby reducing space usage and increasing convenience of transportation.
