The invention relates to a novel safety protecting plate. The novel safety protecting plate comprises a protecting plate body which is of an arc plate shaped structure; reinforcing plates are symmetrically fixedly connected to the concave side surface of the protecting plate body; the end parts of the two reinforcing plates are fixedly connected to a fixing rod; the fixing rod is equipped with an axial through hole; through mounting grooves are formed in the reinforcing plates; a fluorescent plate is fixedly connected to the middle part of the convex surface side of the protecting plate body. The novel safety protecting plate is simple in structure; the reinforcing plates are connected to the concave surface side of the protecting plate body, so that the quality and impact resistance of the protecting plate can be improved; the fluorescent plate for safety instruction is arranged on the protecting plate body, and thus the safety at night is improved.
