The invention provides a ladder having an illuminating function, and relates to a ladder. The ladder is characterized in that a solar panel and an LED base plate are arranged on a footboard of the top layer of a ladder body, LED base plates are additionally arranged on other cross bars of the ladder body, and an integrated storage battery is arranged at the lower part of the cross bar at the bottom layer of the ladder body, a switch is arranged on the ladder body, the solar panel, the LED base plates, the integrated storage battery and the switch are connected to form a loop by lead wires; the integrated storage battery comprises an integrated circuit board and a storage battery; and the upper layer of each LED base plate is provided with a rigid transparent panel. The ladder has the characteristics of novel structure and high safety and reliability, can be used simply and conveniently, and has the energy-saving and environment-friendly effects, and therefore, the ladder having the illuminating function has the economical efficiency and the practicability.
