The rail shield muck colored functional ceramsite is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 65-85 parts of rail shield muck, 3-5 parts of cement, 3-5 parts of quick lime, 3-5 parts of desulfurization gypsum, 5-10 parts of coal ash, 10-20 parts of tourmaline powder, 0.5-1 part of inorganic pigment, 5-10 parts of water glass, 3-5 parts of sodium sulfate and 30-50 parts of water. According to the rail shield muck colored functional ceramsite, the colored ceramsite is prepared through an unburned and non-autoclaved process; and through adding the tourmaline powder and the inorganic pigment to the raw materials, the prepared caramite can release anions to provide good air purification effect and effectively remove the indoor formaldehyde, and the caramite is colorful to bring living and garden decoration effect, so that the rail shield muck colored functional ceramsite is an environment-friendly low-carbon air purifying agent and decoration material with commercial application prospect.
