The invention provides a concave steel bar connector adopting a space grid structure. The concave steel bar connector comprises a cylindrical grid frame; the cylindrical grid frame is formed by connecting circular ribs and longitudinal ribs in a crossing manner, and comprises a plurality of spaces; a connecting wall is arranged in each space; a cylinder body and a conical cylinder body are defined by the circular ribs, the longitudinal ribs and the connecting walls; the connecting walls are arranged in the middles of the thicknesses of the circular ribs and the longitudinal ribs; four 90-degree spaces are formed in the same plane after each circular rib crosses the corresponding longitudinal rib; four connecting plates are arranged in the 90-degree spaces respectively; two right angle surfaces of each connecting plate respectively coincide with the corresponding circular rib and the corresponding longitudinal rib; the small-diameter end of the conical cylinder body is connected with a cone; a first through hole is formed in the conical cylinder body; a second through hole is formed in the cylinder body; grooves are formed in the outer walls of the connecting walls on the cylinder body; each groove is positioned between every two circular ribs and the two corresponding longitudinal ribs. Through the adoption of the concave steel bar connector, the defect in the prior art can be overcome.
