The invention provides a steel bar connector adopting a space grid structure. The steel bar connector comprises a cylindrical grid frame structure; the cylindrical grid frame structure is formed by connecting circular ribs and longitudinal ribs in a crossing manner, and comprises a plurality of spaces; a connecting wall is arranged in each space; the connecting walls are arranged in the middles of the thicknesses of the circular ribs and the longitudinal ribs; one end of the cylindrical grid frame structure is a conical cylinder body; a first through hole is formed in the connecting wall on the conical cylinder body; the small-diameter end of the conical cylinder body is connected with a cone; a through hole is formed in the cone; a thread is formed in the inner wall of the though hole; a second through hole is formed in the connecting wall on the straight cylinder wall of the cylindrical grid frame structure; the outer surfaces of the circular ribs and the longitudinal ribs are positioned in the same plane I; the inner surfaces of the circular ribs and the longitudinal ribs are positioned in the same plane II. The steel bar connector has the advantages that the connecting walls in the cylindrical grid frame structure are relatively thin, and are arranged in the middles of the thicknesses of the circular ribs and the longitudinal ribs, so that the defect in the prior art can be overcome.
