The invention discloses a modified phosphor-gypsum synthetic wood plate material and a preparation method thereof. The modified phosphor-gypsum synthetic wood plate material is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 30-50 parts of phosphor-gypsum, 8-12 parts of coal dust, 6-10 parts of cement, 0.5-3 parts of fiber, 12-20 parts of yellow phosphorus slag and 1-4 parts of quick lime. By adopting the phosphor-gypsum as a main raw material to prepare the modified phosphor-gypsum synthetic wood plate material, the method disclosed by the invention can be used for improving the situation that the phosphor-gypsum is stacked like a mountain and having a great significance for protecting environment and realizing continuous development. Moreover, the produced modified phosphor-gypsum synthetic wood plate material has the advantages of being light, good in waterproofness and fireproofness, high in compressive strength, high in weather resistance and the like and can be widely used as indoor and outdoor decorative materials.
