The invention discloses a high-strength ceramic brick with humidity adjustment function and a production method thereof. The ceramic brick contains humidity-adjustable submicron pores which are left after sintering the high-ignition-loss plastic soil with diatomaceous shale, vermiculite, bauxite, attapulgite and micro alumina whisker. After the ceramic brick is fired at low temperature, no glass phase is generated, and no pore is blocked. Since the expansion coefficients of various raw materials are not matched, microcracks are generated on the submicron moisture absorption pores to enhance the moisture absorption/desorption capacity of the product. The micro alumina whisker is used for toughening and matched with the layer-chain-structure attapulgite, thereby obtaining higher strength and overcoming the defects caused by lower strength due to lower sintering degree.
