The invention discloses a high-strength ceramic tile with a humidity adjusting function and a production method thereof. The ceramic tile contains humidity-adjustable submicron pores left after high loss on ignition plastic soil, diatomaceous shale, vermiculite, bauxite, attapulgite, and nano needle-like apatite are sintered; the ceramic tile is sintered at a low temperature, and a glass phase is not generated, so that the pores are not plugged; because the expansion coefficients of various raw materials are mismatched, tiny micro cracks are produced in submicron moisture-absorbing pores, so that the moisture absorption and desorption capacity of products is enhanced; the nano needle-like apatite is adopted for toughening, and in cooperation with attapulgite with a stratified chain structure, a high strength is achieved, thereby overcoming the defects caused by low strength resulting from a low sintering degree.
