The invention discloses a thin-wall rectangular steel pipe restricted GFRP (glass fiber reinforced plastic) rib recycled concrete column comprising a cylindrical shell formed by a circle of thin-wall rectangular steel pipes, GFRP ribs arranged along the length direction of the cylindrical shell, recycled aggregate concrete placed in the cylindrical shell, and bolts for fixing longitudinal connecting edges of the cylindrical shell, wherein the length of the GFRP ribs is equal to that of the cylindrical shell, and the GFRP ribs are not connected with the cylindrical shell. The thin-wall rectangular steel pipes are used for restricting core concrete, so that the bearing capacity of the concrete is improved; and moreover, the GFRP ribs further improve the bearing capacity of a component, so that the cross section of the component can be reduced, and materials can be saved.
