The cylinder insertion retractable lock head comprises a lock head body, a cylinder insertion hole is formed in the lock head body, a front-mounted lock body is arranged on the side face of the lock head body through a sliding rail device in an extension mode and provided with an idling block corresponding to a lock cylinder in a rotating mode, and the idling block is provided with a key eyelet hole. The key eyelet hole can rotate along with the idling block to be aligned with a lock cylinder key hole, and when a corresponding lengthened key is inserted, the lock cylinder can be unlocked. Through arranging the front-mounted lock body, the distance between the key eyelet hole and the lock cylinder is increased, a tool for technical unlocking also needs to be correspondingly lengthened, the using flexibility is reduced, the difficulty of technically unlocking the lock cylinder is increased, and through the idling block capable of rotating, the anti-drilling and anti-prying properties of the lock cylinder are improved. In addition, because the front-mounted lock body is arranged through the sliding rail device, the distance between the front-mounted lock body and the lock head body can be adjusted according to different installing requirements without producing and customizing front-mounted lock bodies at different distances, and the investment and operation costs of an enterprise are substantially lowered.
