The preparation method includes the steps of: adding raw material powder, grinding balls, an organic solvent and a surfactant into a ball milling tank, conducting ball milling and drying, then adding a binder, conducting pressing moulding and then performing sintering to obtain the NiCuZn ferrite. The organic solvent raw material powder includes an iron source, a nickel source, a zinc source and a copper source, the organic solvent is at least one of ethanol, n-octane, nonane and xylene, and the surfactant is at least one of oleic acid, Span 80, Tween 80, and Triton X-100. According to the preparation method for the NiCuZn ferrite provided by the invention, the NiCuZn ferrite with high magnetic permeability can be prepared at low sintering temperature, and the process is simple and is easy to implement.
