The invention discloses a building thermal-insulation material which comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 25-45 parts of Portland fly-ash cement, 4-12 parts of fly ash, 1-3 parts of a foaming agent, 0.3-0.5 part of sodium hexametaphosphate and 20-40 parts of water. The building thermal-insulation material is an A-grade light material and has the characteristics of thermal insulation and sound insulation.
