The invention discloses an antibacterial ceramic glaze liquid and a preparation method thereof. The antibacterial ceramic glaze liquid comprises an antibacterial ceramic ground glaze liquid and an antibacterial ceramic cover glaze liquid, wherein the antibacterial ceramic ground glaze liquid comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 10-15% of a frit, 3-10% of a nano-composite negative ion powder, 35-45% of lithium chinastone, 6-8% of zirconium silicate, 15-30% of kaolin and 6-15% of quartz; the antibacterial ceramic cover glaze liquid comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 30-70% of a frit, 10-30% of kaolin, 0.2-8% of alumina, 0.1-10% of zinc oxide, 0.1-15% of zirconium silicate and 2-6% of a nano-zinc oxide powder. Compared with the prior art, the antibacterial ceramic glaze liquid disclosed by the invention is capable of purifying indoor air quality.
