The invention discloses an artificial sandstone slab. The artificial sandstone slab comprises a structural layer and a surface layer coated with the surface of the structural layer, wherein the surface layer comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 100 parts of 52.5-level quick-hardening low-alkalinity sulphate aluminum cement, 190-220 parts of colored sand, 20-30 parts of quartz sand, 5-10 parts of pigments, 1-3 parts of triethanolamine, 1-2 parts of an acrylic emulsion, 1-2 parts of polyacrylamide, 2-3 parts of sodium lignin sulfonate, 1-4 parts of a sulfonated melaine formaldehyde condensation compound and 20-40 parts of water. The structural layer comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 100 parts of 52.5-level quick-hardening low-alkalinity sulphate aluminum cement, 150-180 parts of yellow sand, 1-3 parts of triethanolamine, 1-2 parts of an acrylic emulsion, 1-3 parts of sodium lignin sulfonate, 2-5 parts of sulfonated melaine formaldehyde condensation compound and 20-30 parts of water. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the artificial sandstone slab. The artificial sandstone slab is corrosion-resistant, impact-resistant, fireproof, waterproof and freeze-proof, and is simple in preparation method and can be quickly molded.
