The invention discloses a manhole cover preventing silt from falling into the well mouth. The manhole cover is provided with a cover opening hole, a silt-preventing cover capable of moving in the vertical direction is arranged at the cover opening hole, springs are connected between the silt-preventing cover and a manhole cover body, and the silt-preventing cover shields the cover opening hole from bottom to top under action of the springs. The manhole cover can prevent that the silt falls into the well mouth through the cover opening hole in the manhole cover body, opening of the manhole cover body is not hindered, and in the opening process, people still can insert a claw hook from the cover opening hole to lift the manhole cover just like opening a common manhole cover.
