An internet of things anti-theft guardrail connecting piece with a tension spring and an electronic switch comprises connecting pieces, the tension spring and the electronic switch. Each connection piece comprises a rectangular bottom plate, wherein a hinge is arranged at the front end of the bottom plate, a side plate is upwards arranged on the side edge of the middle of the bottom plate, a front plate is arranged on the upper portion of the side plate, the bottom plate is further provided with installing holes, a switch box is disposed on the front plate, the electronic switch and the tension spring are arranged in the switch box, the hinge is fixed to a guardrail bottom frame, and the tension spring is fixed to a guardrail side frame. The connecting pieces are installed on widow sills on the left side and on the right side of a window, and the guardrail is parallel to the window. When the guardrail bears external force caused due to climbing, pushing, pulling or treading of thieves, the guardrail rotates by a certain angle, the elastic electronic switch starts a warning signal, a warning host connected with the electronic switch sends out warning information, and the internet of things can be formed through a communication network, and remote control is achieved.
