The invention discloses an automatic water saving system utilizing potential-energy difference and relates to the technical field of water supply and sewage comprehensive utilization. The automatic water saving system is characterized in that a tap water pipe is connected to multiple water valves, the water valves are arranged above a gradient washing pool, the bottom of the gradient washing pool at the lower end is provided with a washing pool water outlet, a water collection tank is arranged bellow the washing pool, the washing pool water outlet is connected to the water collection tank, the upper edge of the water collection tank is closedly connected to the gradient washing pool, the outer side of the gradient washing pool is provided with a washing pool overflow opening, the washing pool overflow opening is connected to a washing pool overflow tube, the lower end of the washing pool overflow tube is connected to a sewer, the bottom of the water collection tank is connected to a water collection tank drain pipe, the water collection tank drain pipe is connected to a toilet water tank, the water collection tank is connected to a water supplement pipe, the water supplement pipe is provided with a solenoid valve, and the position at 1/3-1/2 of the water collection tank is provided with a water collection tank liquid level switch. The automatic water saving system has the characteristics of water saving and water storage usage convenience.
