The invention relates to a preparation method of magnesium phosphate cement, belonging to the technical field of cement assistants. The method comprises the following steps: 1) mixing nano aluminum dihydrogen phosphate powder and magnesium oxide in a weight ratio of 1:(2-3) to prepare magnesium phosphate cement; and 2) adding a cement grinding aid, which accounts for 0.1-0.4 wt% of the magnesium phosphate cement, into the magnesium phosphate cement prepared in the step 1) to obtain the final product. By using the aluminum dihydrogen phosphate powder as the raw material, the prepared cement has the advantages of short setting time, low flowability, high compression strength, small average pore size and low porosity, and can not generate the phenomenon of surface scumming. The added cement grinding aid enhances the yield of the grinding mill, lowers the energy consumption of the flour mill, enhances the utilization ratio of the clinker, and implements energy saving and emission reduction.
