Provided is a skeleton bucket that can be manufactured less expensively and to be lighter than in the past, for which repairs and mesh changes can be easily performed, and that has excellent sifting ability and is difficult to clog. A skeleton bucket comprises a bucket body (11) having an opening (A), horizontal bars (12a - 12f) that span and are fixed to the opening (A) in the horizontal direction, and vane members (13a - 13f) that are provided on the horizontal bars and that extend in the vertical direction, and the vane members are supported on the horizontal bar and not fixed to the bucket body. It is preferable that a plurality of vane members are provided on the horizontal bar spaced in the lengthwise direction. It is preferable that a plurality of horizontal bars span the opening (A) spaced in the vertical direction and that the vane member is supported by one of the horizontal bars and is not supported by the other horizontal bars.
