The invention relates to an overlay construction method for repairing an aged asphalt concrete seepage-prevention face plate. The overlay construction method for repairing the aged asphalt concrete seepage-prevention face plate is quick and convenient to construct and low in investment, disturbance damage of a dam body is decreased, and the safety and reliability of engineering operation are improved. According to the technical scheme, the dam body is sequentially provided with a rock pile body, a transition layer and a cushion layer, a leveling adhesion layer is laid on the cushion layer, the aged asphalt concrete face plate is laid on the adhesion layer, and a bottom triangle is formed between the leveling adhesion layer and the aged asphalt concrete face plate. A concrete cover plate is arranged at the front end of the bottom triangle, and a seepage-prevention wall is vertically arranged under the concrete cover plate. The overlay construction method comprises the following steps of (a) surface cleaning and joint filling, (b) glass fiber geogrid laying, (c) copper waterstop embedding, (d) concrete toe board casting, (e) consolidation grouting, (f) concrete connection plate casting, (g) new concrete face plate casting and (h) surface layer water stop construction.
