The invention discloses an automatic lighting ladder which comprises brackets (1) on two sides, wherein a plurality of foot plates (2) are arranged between the brackets (1) on both sides; a reflective optical coupler (3) is arranged at one end of the upper surface of each foot plate (2); a reflective plate (4) is arranged at the other end of the upper surface of each foot plate (2); a bulb (5) is correspondingly and obliquely arranged above each foot plate (2). The automatic lighting ladder not only has the lighting function, but also realizes automatic lighting without additionally arranged switches, and is convenient to use.
