The invention discloses a preparation method of acid-proof and freezing-tolerant red mud glazed tiles. The preparation method includes: taking 50-80 parts of red mud, 10-20 parts of talcum, 4-5 parts of quartz sand, 4-5 parts of albite, 1-3 parts of sodium tripolyphosphate, 1-3 parts of cellulose and 1-3 parts of silicon carbide; sintering and strengthening blanks after being glazed for two times to prepare the glazed tiles which are acid-proof, freezing-tolerant, high in compressive resistance and low water absorptivity. The glazed tiles are simple in process, low in raw material cost and conducive to industrialization.
