The preparation method comprises the steps of mixing zirconium oxide powder with a metal oxide stabilizer including 86 to 92 percent of zirconium oxide, 3 to 8.5 percent of yttria, 2 to 4 percent of calcium oxide, 2 to 5 percent of magnesium oxide and 0.5 to 3 percent of cerium oxide to obtain a mixture I, processing the mixture I in a chemical co-precipitation method, then drying and ball milling, adding a given amount of paraffin, beewax and 0.03% oleic acid, adequately stirring to prepare a wax cake, i.e., the stabilizer composite zierconium oxide powder. The sintering temperature is low, the performance is excellent, the process is easy to control, a wet-method molding way is adopted, a complicate product in various shapes can be produced, the efficiency is high, less equipment investment is needed, the cost is relatively low, and the popularization and application field is wide.
