The invention provides a valve with a graphite lining, graphite for a valve lining and a pressing method for a graphite lining. The pressing method comprises the following step: pressing a graphite lining prepared from 60-80 parts by mass of graphite powder, 6-9 parts by mass of furan resin, 6-10 parts by mass of phenolic resin, 1-3 parts by mass of tert-butyl peroxybenzoate, 1-4 parts by mass of benzoyl peroxide, 1-4 parts by mass of zinc stearate, 1-5 parts by mass of zinc oxide and 2-6 parts by mass of short carbon fibres to the inner wall of a cast-steel/cast-iron shell to prepare the valve with the graphite lining. According to the pressing method provided by the invention, by reasonably adjusting a graphite material formula, the linear expansion coefficient of the obtained graphite for the cast-steel/cast-iron lining is consistent with those of cast steel and cast iron, and the processing technique is strictly controlled, thus really realizing the seamless integration of cast steel and cast iron, and a graphite combined material.
