The gold metal glaze comprises, by mass, 35-40 parts of potash feldspar, 5-8 parts of kaolin, 8-12 parts of quartz, 3-5 parts of high expansion coefficient frit, 4-7 parts of barium carbonate, 15-25 parts of high lead frit, 1-2 parts of vanadic anhydride, 10-12 parts of manganese dioxide, 1-3 parts of copper oxide and 1-2 parts of talcum. The gold metal glaze has the precious and gorgeous appearance effect of gold, and also has the low cost of a ceramic glaze and the characteristics of high hardness, no oxidation, wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the surface of the ceramic glaze. The lead and cadmium dissolution amounts of the gold metal glaze are low, and accord with national and international standards; and the gold metal glaze is suitable for household porcelains and arts and crafts porcelains.
