The invention mainly discloses a derrick equilateral polygonal chain type parking space, which comprises a support frame, wherein more than two parking space platforms on which cars park are arranged on the support frame; the support frame comprises a reversed pentagonal framework; five chain wheels are arranged on five vertexes of the pentagonal framework; the linear distances between every two adjacent chain wheels are identical; a hanging chain is transmitted on the chain wheels; the parking space platforms are freely hung on the changing chain; a fixing frame is connected between the pentagonal framework and the ground; and one chain wheel in the five chain wheels is connected with a gearbox and a motor. The derrick equilateral polygonal chain type parking space has the advantages that the vertical space utilization rate of the parking space on the ground is improved; the structure of a garage is simple; and the occupied area is small.
