The invention discloses a preparation method of self-leveling mortar using waste stone powder. The method includes: (1) proportioning raw materials, to be specific, proportioning raw materials including, by weight, 24% to 28% of ordinary Portland cement 42.5, 12% to 17% of high early strength cement, 8% to 12% of fly ash, 48% to 50% of fine river sand, 8% to 10% of the waste stone powder, 0.02% to 0.04% of thickener, 0.02% to 0.04% of early strength agent, 0.02% to 0.04% of defoaming agent, 0 .1% to 0.12% of retarder and 0.1% to 0.13% of water reducing agent, with the raw materials adding up 100%; (2) uniformly mixing the ordinary Portland cement, the high early strength cement, the fly ash, the waste stone powder and the fine river sand, adding sequentially the thickener, the early strength agent, the defoaming agent and the retarder, and stirring evenly; according to the water-binder ratio of 0.4, gradually adding water, performing stirring for 1 minute before adding the water reducing agent, performing uniform mixing and standing for 30 seconds, and then performing quick stirring for 1 minute to obtain the self-leveling mortar. The use of the method costs less, improves stability of the mortar, increases early strength of the mortar, and solves a large number of environmental problems caused by the waste stone powder.
