Infrared-transmitted ceramic and preparing method thereof
The invention discloses infrared-transmitted ceramic and a preparing method thereof. The host of the infrared-transmitted ceramic is Y2O3, and the molecular formula is (Y1-xZrx)2O3+x, wherein x represents the atom percentage composition of Zr replacing Y, and x is larger than or equal to 0.005 but smaller than or equal to 0.18. The prepared Y2O3 host transparent ceramic doped with zirconium is high in permeability, low in high-temperature infrared radiation coefficient and capable of blocking visible light and ultraviolet light and allowing medium-frequency wave infrared light to transmit; the prepared Y2O3 host transparent ceramic doped with the zirconium can be applied to vehicle-mounted forward impedance looking infrareds, night vision investigation, thermal imagers and other civil and military fields. A Z scanning result shows that the infrared-transmitted ceramic has the optical nonlinear absorption character and has potential application value in optoelectronic devices.
