The invention relates to a shuttle-shaped roof truss and a construction method thereof. The shuttle-shaped roof truss comprises an upper chord, horizontal web members, articulation connecting pieces, inclined web members, rigid pull rods, a lower chord, high-strength connecting pieces and shuttle-shaped truss supports, wherein the upper chord, the horizontal web members, the inclined web members and the lower chord are connected to form a shuttle-shaped structure; the shuttle-shaped truss supports are connected with the lower chord and the inclined web members in a welding manner; the high-strength connecting pieces are connected with the lower chord in a welding manner; the horizontal web members are connected with the upper chord in a welding manner; the lower ends of the inclined web members are connected with the high-strength connecting pieces, and the upper ends of the inclined web members are connected with the upper chord in a welding manner; the articulation connecting pieces are connected with the upper chord and the lower chord of the shuttle-shaped truss in a welding manner; the upper ends of the rigid pull rods are hinged to junctions of the upper chord and the inclined web members, and the lower ends of the rigid pull rods are hinged to the high-strength connecting pieces. According to the shuttle-shaped roof truss and the construction method thereof, provided by the invention, by the shuttle-shaped truss joint connection manner, the rods and pieces can be stressed uniformly, the maximum transmission of the tensile force of the rigid pull rods and the stability of the overall roof structure can be ensured by the reliability of connections between the rigid pull rods and the truss as well as among trusses. The effective transmission of the tensile force of the rigid pull rods is ensured by the high-strength connecting pieces of the rigid pull rods of the shuttle-shaped roof truss.
