The invention discloses a U-shaped grading curve asphalt mixture. The U-shaped grading curve asphalt mixture is characterized in that on the basis of an S-shaped grading curve, the usage amount of a middle-grade material is properly reduced, the usage amounts of coarse aggregate and fine aggregate are properly increased, and the usage amount of a filling material is properly increased; and the U-shaped grading curve asphalt mixture used for a top layer is produced from broken stone with a particle size of 10 to 15 mm, broken stone with a particle size of 5 to 10 mm, broken stone with a particle size of 3 to 5 mm, broken stone with a particle size of 0 to 3 mm, mineral powder and cement in a ratio of 29: 30: 8: 29: 2: 2. The U-shaped grading curve asphalt mixture has the advantages of a small void ratio, good uniformity, small pavement segregation, low water permeability, good high temperature stability and dynamic stability of 8000 to 10000 times/mm.
