The invention provides a high-efficiency cooling bridge with a self-cleaning expansion joint device. The self-cleaning expansion joint device comprises a left half frame part (3), a right half frame part (4) as well as an upper elastic covering part (62) and a lower elastic covering part (61), wherein the upper elastic covering part (62) and the lower elastic covering part (61) are positioned between the left half frame part (3) and the right half frame part (4) and used for covering expansion joints between the left half frame part (3) and the right half frame part (4) above the payment of the bridge and under the pavement of the bridge, respectively. A first mobile cleaning plate module (9) and a second mobile cleaning plate module (8) arranged along the line from front to back are arranged in chambers (30, 40) enclosed by the left half frame part (3), the right half frame part (4), the upper elastic covering part (62) and the lower elastic covering part (61).
