The invention discloses an FRP inhaul cable anchoring device with a ferrule releasing function, and a mounting method of the FRP inhaul cable anchoring device, and relates to the anchoring field of inhaul cables. In the anchoring device, an FRP inhaul cable is fixed in a load transmission sleeve; an anchoring sleeve sleeves the load transmission sleeve; the outer surface of the load transmission sleeve is attached to the inner surface of the anchoring sleeve; a loading end is positioned in the anchoring sleeve; a releasing section is uniformly divided into 2-8 parts along the circumferential direction; a gap is reversed between every two adjacent division parts; the outer diameter of the releasing section is smaller than that of a fastening section; an annular protective tube sleeves the releasing section; the junction of the releasing section and the fastening section is fixedly connected with one end of the annular protective tube; a gap is reserved between the inner surface of the annular protective tube and the outer surface of the releasing section. When the anchoring device is mounted, a load transmission medium is wound at the outer part of the FRP inhaul cable, so that the load transmission sleeve is formed; the load transmission sleeve is inserted in the anchoring sleeve; the annular protective tube sleeves the releasing section. The FRP inhaul cable anchoring device disclosed by the invention is simple in structure, and can effectively anchor FRP inhaul cables of large tonnage.
