The invention discloses a microwave drying method of corundum composite ceramic material, and the method comprises the following steps: placing the moulded blankof corundum composite ceramic material into a microwave drying room, carrying out microwave drying with an industrial microwave source whose frequency is 2.45GHz+-25MHz, gradually heating to 60 DEG C from normal temperature, performing heat preservation for one hour, heating to 1100 DEG C, performing heat preservation for 3 hours, and then naturally cooling to room temperature. According to the invention, the uniformity of the drying methodis substantially improved than the uniformity of the conventional drying, and the drying time is substantially shortened; compared with the conventional drying method, the non-contact microwave drying method can avoid impurity pollution in the drying process.
