The invention particularly relates to composite corundum ceramic and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the field of high-temperature structural materials. The composite corundum ceramic is prepared from the following raw materials: zircon powder, white corundum, alumina whiskers and a binder. White corundum serves as a matrix, zircon powder with different mass fractions is added to serve as a composite corundum ceramic system, and a traditional high-temperature ceramic system is broken through. White corundum and zircon powder are used as raw materials, a dry pressing forming process is utilized, the preparation process is simple, the cost is saved, and the preparation process is green, environment-friendly and pollution-free. The composite corundum ceramic is prepared under a high-temperature aerobic condition by utilizing a muffle furnace low-temperature co-sintering technology, so that a traditional preparation method of high-temperature ceramic is broken through; the prepared composite corundum ceramic has higher use temperature, good ablation resistance and long service life, and the application range of the material is widened.
