The invention relates to a work method of a flush type sliding window for a vehicle and a sliding mechanism for the flush type sliding window for the vehicle. The flush type sliding window for the vehicle comprises window glass, wherein a guide rail is arranged at the inner side of the window glass; the sliding mechanism is glidingly matched on the guide rail; movable glass is fixedly connected with the sliding mechanism; a vent hole matched with the movable glass in a sealed way is formed in the window glass; when the movable glass moves on the guide rail through the sliding mechanism to a position aligned with the vent hole, the movable glass is suitable to vertically move opposite to the window glass and is matched in the hole in a sealed way; and after the sliding window is closed, the movable glass can be enabled to be in a flush state with a vehicle window, and the sealing is ensured.
