Method for preparation of ZnO varistor ceramic by common doping of aluminum, gallium and yttrium ions
Belonging to the field of materials, the invention discloses a method for preparation of ZnO varistor ceramic by common doping of aluminum, gallium and yttrium ions. The method includes the preparation steps of: mixing Bi2O3, Sb2O3, MnO2, Cr2O3, Co2O3 and SiO2, adding deionized water and conducting ball-milling; adding ZnO and deionized water into the ball milled slurry, and performing ball milling again; adding Al(NO3)3, Ga(NO3)3, Y(NO3)3 or Y2O3 into the ball milled ZnO slurry, and conducting ball milling again; and subjecting the ball milled slurry to tabletting sintering. The varistor ceramic prepared by the method provided by the invention has the characteristics of small leakage current, high gradient, low residual voltage, large current capacity and stable aging performance, and is more suitable for the application requirements of power transmission line lightning arrester and GIS lightning arrester, and depth limit power system overvoltage.
