The invention relates to construction of an underflow pump station for a metallurgical mine project. A construction method for a prefabricated assembled concrete underflow pump station comprises the steps of processing prefabricated concrete wallboards in a factory, and embedding designated embedded parts and hooks into concrete; digging a foundation pit on site, then casting a first layer of a reinforced concrete circular raft foundation of the underflow pump station, and reserving joint bars and spacer bars with sufficient vertical lengths according to the design drawing; installing the prefabricated concrete wallboards in place to form a cylindrical wall; performing plugging seepage control at joints between the wallboards by using high-pressure grouted foamed expanded grouting material; casting a second layer of the circular raft foundation of the underflow pump station; after the circular raft foundation of the underflow pump station is constructed, setting up a scaffold to cast a reinforced concrete circular top plate at the top of the pump station; and backfilling and compacting earthwork around the pump station after the pump station is constructed. The method can shorten the construction period and reduce the cost.
