The invention relates to a weatherable insulation and heat dissipation composite material, a weatherable insulation and heat dissipation switch panel, a making method of the composite material, and a making method of the switch panel, and belongs to the technical field of switch panels. The weatherable insulation and heat dissipation composite material comprises, by mass, 80-99 parts of alumina powder, 20-45 parts of zirconia, 1-5 parts of yttrium oxide, 1-5 parts of calcium carbonate, 1-5 parts of silica and 0.1-5 parts of polyvinyl alcohol. The weatherable insulation and heat dissipation composite material has the advantages of excellent weatherability, excellent heat dissipation property and good insulation effect, and the switch panel made by using the composite material has the advantages of excellent weatherability, excellent heat dissipation property, no discoloration after perennial use, and non-flammability.
