The present invention relates to an aluminum-chromium refractory material and a preparation method therefor. The aluminum-chromium refractory material comprises the following raw materials in parts by mass: 80-100 parts of alumina particles, 25-35 parts of alpha-alumina powder, 15-20 parts of nano alumina, 20-35 parts of chrome oxide, 10-20 parts of graphene, 5-10 parts of an additive, 7-12 parts of a binder and 5-12 parts of nano silicon carbide. According to the refractory material provided by the invention, the inner structure is compact, and therefore volume density is increased; apparent porosity of the refractory material is reduced, and therefore expansion is prevented, thereby further improving various physical properties of the refractory material such as strength, thermal shock resistance and heat shock stability. The aluminum-chromium refractory material provided by the present invention is simple in preparation method, rich in raw materials and applicable to industrial production.
