Corundum-spinel castable for steel ladle and preparing method thereof
The invention relates to corundum-spinel castable for a steel ladle and a preparing method thereof. According to the technical scheme, the preparing method includes the steps that 0.02-0.15 part of organic fiber, 0.04-0.08 part of calcium lignosulphonate, 0.08-0.12 part of sodium tripolyphosphate, 0.03-0.06 part of sodium hexametaphosphate and 0.01-0.03 part of aluminum powder are added into 20-40 parts of matrix materials by mass and mixed evenly; 60-80 parts of magnesium-containing corundum particles by mass are added and mixed dryly, 4-6 parts of water by mass is added for stirring, a mold is installed, the mixture is cast and vibrated to be formed, temperature is kept at 110 DEG C-200 DEG C for 12-48 h, and the corundum-spinel castable is obtained after demolding. The matrix materials include alpha-Al2O3 micro powder with the partical size D50 of 5 micrometers, 3 micrometers and 1 micrometer, fused white corundum fine powder, fused fused magnesite fine powder and alumina gel powder. The prepared castable has the advantages of being high in volume stability, strength, thermal shock resistance and excellent in slag corrosion resistance.
