The steel ladle wall castable is mainly prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 10 to 40 parts of 90 alumina, 10 to 40 parts of white corundum, 3 to 10 parts of fused magnesite, 5 to 20 parts of white corundum dedusting powder, 2 to 9 parts of pure calcium aluminate cement, 3 to 12 parts of alpha-alumina micro powder, 0.04 to 0.15 part of sodium tripolyphosphate, 0.01 to 0.04 part of metal aluminum powder and 0.1 to 0.6 part of organic fiber. The white corundum dedusting powder is introduced into the steel ladle wall castable to replace white corundum fine powder, so that the prepared steel ladle wall castable has the characteristic that the service life is equivalent to that of an original steel ladle wall castable, and the manufacturing cost of an enterprise is reduced; and moreover, the environmental protection problem of white corundum enterprises is correspondingly solved by recycling the wastes, and meanwhile, the consumption of non-renewable resource of non-renewable bauxite ore can also be reduced.
