The invention discloses an existing building foundation pile projection detection method. The existing building foundation pile projection detection method comprises the following steps: (1) detection points are arranged on a foundation pile of an exiting building to be detected; (2) signal receiving devices are respectively mounted in a column top surface projection range and a pile top surface projection range and on the detection points of a column side surface and a pile side surface; (3) the signal receiving devices are connected with signal processing devices; and (4) shock excitation signals are instantly given to the edges of the detection points; and the signal receiving devices collect reflection signals and input into the signal processing devices for processing to obtain a time interval curve chart and an amplitude spectrum. The existing building foundation pile projection detection method has the following advantages: the measurement can be directly performed on the foundation pile of the existing building; the large-area and high-strength construction is not needed; the foundation pile and the existing building are not required to be damaged; the vertical (longitudinal) shock excitation detection is adopted to quickly, accurately, economically and nondestructively obtain the conditions of the foundation pile; the potential safety hazard is eliminated; and the existing building foundation pile projection detection method is wide in application range and high in precision.
