The invention provides a gravity normally-open type turnover plate drainer which comprises a pipe body. A turnover plate is arranged on the upper portion of the pipe body. The gravity normally-open type turnover plate drainer is characterized in that two opposite turnover plate mounting portions are arranged on the outer circumference of the turnover plate and symmetrically arranged on one side of the turnover plate; the connecting line of the axes of the two turnover plate mounting portions is located beside the center line of the turnover plate, and the positions, at the two sides of the connecting line, of the turnover plate comprise a large turnover plate portion and a small turnover plate portion; the turnover plate mounting portions and a pipe body mounting portion arranged on the pipe body are rotatably connected in an inserted mode, and the turnover plate can swing around the axes of the turnover plate mounting portions; a turnover plate locating portion is arranged on the outer circumference of the large turnover plate portion and corresponds to a pipe body locating portion arranged on the pipe body, and when the turnover plate is horizontal, the turnover plate locating portion and the pipe body locating portion are connected in an inserted mode. The turnover plate can be automatically kept vertical or in a large-angle opened state; smooth drainage is guaranteed; the drainer is convenient to use, sanitary and long in service life.
