A repairing material for a weathering ganged brick comprises, by mass, 10%-40% of quick lime, 50%-80% of sintering shale powder, 4%-8% of glutinous rice starch, 4%-6% of gypsum and 2%-8% of calcium hydroxide. A preparation method comprises the following steps that a certain amount of water is added in the glutinous rice starch, digesting is conducted for 2h to 2.5 h at the temperature ranging from 75 DEG C to 85 DEG C, and modified glutinous rice starch paste is obtained; the sintering shale powder, the quick lime, the gypsum and the calcium hydroxide are evenly mixed; the prepared modified glutinous rice starch paste and the rest of water are added, stirring is conducted for 1 min to 2 min, and the repairing material is obtained, wherein the ratio of water to material is 0.45 to 0.56. The sintering shale powder is selected to serve as one component of the repairing material for the weathering ganged brick, obtained sintering shale powder is closest to the color of an original brick body, fast cooling is conducted on the sintered shale powder, partial SiO2 can be made to be in a high-energy activated state, and therefore conducting of a reaction in the later period is facilitated.
