The present invention provides an efficient catalytic porous ceramic material and a preparation process thereof. The porous ceramic is cordierite porous ceramic, and can achieve one-time sintering of a catalyst and a porous biscuit at 800-850 DEG C. By low temperature sintering, the catalytic activity of the catalyst can be maintained, and compared with conventional catalytic porous ceramic manufacturing techniques, the manufacturing cost of the catalytic porous ceramic can be reduced, the adhesion durability of the catalyst in a porous ceramic carrier can be improved, and the process is simple. The efficient catalytic porous ceramic material is applied to low-temperature catalysis and purification and other fields.
